FISHING AND FISHERMEN
Noli is mainly a fishing town. During the day we saw many boats on the beach, fishermen mending their nets, cleaning fish, selling their catch, and some preparing to go out to sea. Noli had some tourist trade, mostly middle-class Germans, who came to enjoy the beach. When I returned in the morning from fishing all night with the anchovy fisherman, we passed quite a few small boats preparing to go out for the day to fish.
