Glen Echo Park, formerly an amusement park, is now an arts and cultural center administered by the National Park Service. Glen Echo Park offers a variety of courses in the arts -- painting, pottery making, glass making, chorale groups, children's ballet classes, and more.  It is known for its antique carousel.
